The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius has already worked with 'Vitra' for a wide range of furniture and home accessories.
In 2016 she created a small series of blankets, which she called 'Colour Block Blankets'. Each of these blankets consists of four colour contrasting fields, which together form a particularly beautiful composition.
The blanks are made from Peruvian highland wool with great care and attention to detail. This exceptional wool comes from sheep that are a cross between the Merino sheep, known for its soft wool, and the Corriedale sheep. A robust fibre that feels good to the touch and warms.
