Table 'Slice' with linoleum

The beautiful wooden table from the Danish design specialists Normann Copenhagen is in my dining room. All family members gather at least once a day, share their impressions, exchange ideas and enjoy the company with fine food.

The table top consists of three 'planks' which are held together by wooden connecting pieces. These are cleverly placed inside the tabletop so that the connections are not visible from most angles.

The oak brings a piece of nature into the design, as the structure and annual rings of the wood are still clearly visible. Due to the soaped finish the wood looks very noble. The final combination with the Linoelum surface gives the table additional character and a strong charisma, which however does not push itself into the foreground.

The resistance and hardness of the oak wood predestine the table as a widely used dining table, or as a work table in the studio.

Simple, natural - and without expiration date.
