Desk 'Compas Direction' by Jean Prouvé

Dear Mr. Prouvé - a master of finding constructive solutions.

Especially when metal comes into play, the past century hardly knows a second designer who created such unique furniture with a precise engineering hand. Of course, the famous and well-known institution Vitra, which still produces many Prouvé designs today with the highest standards of quality and workmanship, knows this too.

For example, the table called Compas Direction. The elegantly splayed, slender metal legs of the desk are formally reminiscent of the legs of a compass - in French 'le compas'. A typical feature for the French designer Jean Prouvé. Together with the oiled solid wood top, this creates a contrasting mix of materials for the home office.

The color of the legs as well as the wood of the table top can be chosen according to your taste.

A real design icon, distinctive and with a lot of charm.
