The 'Contract' table series from Vitra was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950s. The special feature of this series is the universally applicable table base. It is particularly resistant to tipping and can support table tops of different shapes and sizes. In terms of form, it resembles the legs of the chairs in the 'Aluminum' group.
The 'Eames Contract High' with its new, high base frame is a round high table for indoor and outdoor use with a table top made of melamine, HPL or oak.
The base tube is made of chrome, powder-coated dark, deep black or white with a chrome or polished extension arm. The table version with solid core top and powder-coated base is suitable for outdoor use.
