Takushi' is the name of this wonderful table from the traditional Swiss manufacturer Röthlisberger. In ancient Japan, 'Takushi' simply meant 'table'.
The extension of the term was created by the designer Gavin Harris, who refined his design with a sophisticated detail. The table top almost seems to float. This impression is created above all by the legs, which are not attached at the corners but are slightly angled and curved to reach under the table.
