Move' table on wheels

More than 40 years ago, Verner Panton struggled with some of the same problems we know today: How do you make a table both simple, robust and flexible? Panton wanted a quintessence table - a top and four legs, one in each corner. However, he also wanted the table to be easy to dismantle and to remain flexible after assembly.

That's how he got the idea for the Move table. This came to him when he had his own studio in Basel. At that time Verner Panton's studio was quite large and busy and there was no room for an extra table in Panton's own office. To solve the problem, he simply placed a desk on lockable castors and - voilà - the Move table was born.

In this way, whenever visitors came to see him, Panton simply moved the table to the center of Ruames and everyone could stand around the table and see what Panton wanted to show them.

A flexible table for the dining room, office or meeting room, or wherever you need a dynamic and simple table.
