The Matéria Low Board / side table series is characterized by its special dimensions and calm appearance. The concave, organically shaped table top awakens an intuitive desire to stroke its surface and feel its natural texture. The originally purely experimental design by German designer Christian Haas became a trio in collaboration with ClassiCon. Matéria is available in three different sizes and versions. Individually or in combination, the handmade lowboards are characterized by their materiality and show how sensual a minimalist approach can be. In addition to the versions in open-pored natural travertine or stained indigo in combination with light ash wood, the series is also available in a deep black version with a table top made of high-quality Nero Marquina marble and a frame made of black lacquered ash wood. The black marble version has the presence and durability of a sculpture and exudes a luxurious flair. The natural marbling of the high-gloss impregnated natural stone makes each piece unique. Both Matéria variants - travertine or marble - captivate in their own way with their incomparably natural look, which is reminiscent of an abstract painting.
