Deep 'Three-way round table' by Max Bill

In contrast to these rather free forms, Max Bill's 'Dreirundtisch', created around 1949/50, appears almost taut and precise. The construction of three circles determines its geometric shape.

The 'Dreirundtisch' marks a high point in Max Bill's campaign for design reform: the formula 'beauty from function and as function' from his legendary lecture became a key thesis. He broke down the rigid concept of functionalism by placing the forms of everyday objects in a larger context with those of nature and art and confronting serial everyday objects with handcrafted and technical objects.

A form that is simply unique and that I like insanely well. And which I have selected for you here in a deeper version. The perfect coffee table, ladies and gentlemen!
