Floor lamp 'Plissée'

Designer Sebastian Herkner likes to turn our habitual perception of materials upside down. The 'Plissée' lamp, for example, is sensual, weightless and balances a light balloon on a simple, elegant brass base.

That which resembles artfully pleated fabric is in fact mouth-blown glass. An elaborate manufacturing process creates this textile, soft effect. A dimmable LED light source inside provides the individual lighting mood. Plissée' combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial components.

A restrained beauty, which can be wonderfully integrated into the room, but can also be skilfully staged.
