Umbrella stand 'Usha'

At the end of the 1920s, the Maharajah of Indore commissioned the German architect Eckart Muthesius to furnish his palace. A jewel of Art Deco was created and with it a multitude of furniture and lamps. Among them the umbrella stand Usha.

Like a serpent in a snake charm, the shapely metal wriggles upwards to form a cylindrical container for umbrellas and walking sticks.

The original was the chrome version. But 'Usha' is now also available in black or bronze.
