'Fauteuil de Salon' by Jean Prouvé

Dear Mr. Prouvé - a master of constructive solution finding.

Especially when metal comes into play, the past century hardly knows a second designer who created such unique furniture with a precise engineering hand. The famous and well-known institution Vitra, which still produces many Prouvé designs today with the highest standards of quality and workmanship, is of course aware of this.

The beautiful Fauteuil de Salon is a prime example of this. The comfortable armchair combines simple surfaces into an architecturally appealing whole with a comfortable seat and backrest.

Rediscovered in the archives of the French designer, the armchair has been adapted to modern times in terms of colour. Thanks to the armrests in oiled solid wood and the design language typical of Prouvé, which is oriented towards constructional requirements, the Fauteuil de Salon fits in wonderfully with the spirit of the times.

A real collector's item that also knows how to show itself outside the salon and provides inviting moments.

As with many icons that come from the capable hands of 'Vitra', you can also put together the Prouvé armchair in a way that suits you and your home.
