'Resting Bird' from Vitra

With their project Resting Animals, the design studio Front has re-examined the close connection between people and figurative objects. The result was that many people find an animal figure emotionally enriching.

With the 'Resting Animals' this discussion finds its expression in a group of sleeping animal figures whose form radiates great peace and tranquillity.

That again explains why two such quiet little birds have recently been sleeping on my sideboard at home.
