Lounge chair 'Swan' in leather

In fact, the shape of this lounge chair is reminiscent of a swan. Even if in a truly minimalist way.

The beautiful Swan armchair was designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen for the lobby and lounge area of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The design does not contain any straight lines, so despite its simplicity and strong architectural look, it is organic and soft.

Speaking of soft, it really sits well in here, by the way.

Use the armchair as a single eye-catcher in the bedroom or living room.

Four different types of leather are available in this version. The cover is completely sewn by hand. Really remarkable how much handcraft goes into each Swan, making each piece unique:

Seat shell material

The plastic shell is made of synthetic material and is upholstered with cold foam.

Material frame

The frame is an aluminium base with satin polished or powder coated column tube.

Leather Essential

Chrome tanned, slightly shiny, finished and grained surface with high durability. High light fastness. Thickness approx. 1.0-1.2 mm.

Grace leather

Vegetable and chrome tanned aniline leather, full grain, light structure and light impregnation. Becomes lighter with use and gets patina, visible natural features. Thickness approx. 1.2-1.4 mm.
