The Chimera lamps from 'Artemide' are a design classic by Vico Magistretti. Even though the wave-shaped and decorative lamps were designed as early as 1969, they have lost nothing of their timelessness.
The collection includes a table lamp and the floor lamp Chimera, which you can also find from today.
The wave-shaped diffuser of both lamps is made of hot bent methacrylate, which reminds with its opal white surface and the beautiful curves of noble glass. It diffuses a diffuse light that transforms the luminaire body itself into an eye-catcher and gracefully emphasises its shape.
Thanks to its relatively high shade, 'Mezzachimera' can not only be placed on sideboards and side tables, but also looks good on the floor.
