ClassiCon Forma - Table Lamp
With Forma, Christian Haas translates the archetype of the 1940s/50s desk lamp into solid wood. In doing so, he reduces the original form as much as possible, creating an unmistakable silhouette: the asymmetrical base and the curved lampshade, glued together from solid wood strips, appear to have grown organically. The naturally grained ash or walnut wood from which Forma is made has an inherent warmth and sensuality, giving the new luminaire its homely character. A push button almost invisibly embedded in the base guarantees simple operation, while the large, slightly inclined shade with satin-finished diffuser disc and dimmable LED ring in a warm white light color provides glare-free, pleasant light. Forma is versatile and looks just as good on a desk as it does on a sideboard, console or bedside table.
