This beautiful floor lamp can be ordered from me from today in two different versions and in two sizes. By the way, mine stands next to my favourite armchair in the living room.
Somehow this lamp reminds me of the table lamps in the dining car of a train. Maybe it's the industrial charm that the 'Lantern Light' discreetly exudes.
The lamp is a new edition of the original by Vico Magistretti. He designed the then named 'Lyndon' in 1977 based on the idea of a structure that holds a simple ball of light. The delicate glass ball forms a contrast to the minimalist approach of her frame, the idea being to make it look like a cloud.
In homage to the late designer, a new lamp has been created in the spirit of the Lyndon lamp: the 'Latern Light'.
