The combination of bright metal, glossy details, elegant leather and soft yet deliberately set lines make an object that nonchalantly masters the high art of indirect lighting. The centrepiece is the simple shade made of delicate metal strips that form concentric circles and prevent glare through uniform light scattering.
Originally the lamp was designed in 1955 for the National Pension Institute in Helsinki.
