The Tolomeo lamp, an icon of Italian design and the result of a creative collaboration between designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, was introduced in 1987. It embodies the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. The Tolomeo’s design is characterized by clean, minimalist lines and an aluminum structure. This material not only gives the lamp a modern and elegant appearance but also makes it remarkably lightweight and sturdy. The lamp head, which can be adjusted in all directions, is equipped with a stamped aluminum reflector that ensures even light distribution, making the lamp ideal for a wide range of lighting needs. One of the Tolomeo’s defining features is its articulated arm system. Thanks to an innovative spring mechanism, the lamp can be effortlessly adjusted in height and angle, ensuring great flexibility in use. This makes it perfect both as a desk lamp to illuminate a workspace and as a reading or table lamp to create cozy and relaxing atmospheres. Its timeless elegance and flawless functionality have made it one of the most famous lamps in the world; it has been honored with numerous international awards, including the prestigious Compasso d’Oro. This lamp is not merely a lighting fixture, but a true masterpiece of design that continues to inspire and fascinate generations of connoisseurs of beautiful things.
