This table lamp that Michael Anastassiades devised for 'Flos' is truly magical.
This collection is all about balance. The illuminated glass ball, which balances on the end of a fine brass rod, is common to all the lamps. The designer came up with the idea while watching a juggler. Bullets danced over his arms and fingertips. Despite the speed of his movements, the bullets seemed to be quiet. It was exactly this moment that Michael Anastassiades wanted to capture and implement.
I think he succeeded in doing so, while I admire this beautiful lamp in amazement.
