Light sculpture by 'Vitra'

This lamp in unusual design is a true design classic from the pen of designer Isamu Noguchi and belongs to the lamp series Akari. In 1951 the American-Japanese designer designed the illuminated sculptures Akari - a total of over 100 handmade models from Shoji paper. Including table, ceiling and floor lamps, like our flying croissant here.

Akari' is the Japanese expression for brightness and light and also means lightness.

This lamp stands almost like an art object in my living room, where it provides a cosy ambience especially in the evening.

A cult classic that shows the connoisseur and will certainly give you long pleasure.
