Luminaire 'Tube Light'

Today, the Mooris of good Eileen Gray winds a wreath. With her design and architectural theories, she shaped our idea of living, and even 30 years after her death, she is still regarded as the epitome of modernity. She is the only woman named in the same breath as Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer. Their tubular steel furniture was considered revolutionary at the time. Today they are classics.

This also includes the 'Tube Light', a floor lamp that connects chrome-plated steel tubing with an LED line lamp.

What amazes me about Eileen Gray's designs is the absolute timelessness and modernity that her furniture exudes. The same goes for the 'Tube Light', which looks just as good next to a beautiful armchair or sofa as it does in the bedroom.
