Reminiscent of a lantern, but in a very elegant version: the new Caleo Original luminaire from Le Klint. It was designed by Rikke Frost and brings classic pleating craftsmanship to the fore with a completely new look.
Incidentally, the name of the light source means 'to emphasize' in Latin - which refers to the beautiful, hand-drawn lines on the pleating.
The Caleo Original was known nationwide long before its market launch. The designer behind the lamp, Rikke Frost, took part in the DR program series "Denmark's Next Classic", where she solved the task of designing a beautiful dining table lamp in collaboration with Le Klint.
The name r lamp comes from Latin and means "to emphasize", which refers to the beautiful strokes made by hand.
The classic folded craft is of course an essential part of the design, but the pattern of the lamp is rotated 90 degrees and the folds are arranged in a new way.
The lamps are made from hand-folded paper with bronzed lines, linen cord and metal suspension.
Our paper/bronze lampshades combine the familiar quality of our folded paper with a subtle bronze screen print that elegantly highlights the details of the hand-folded pleats.
