The core of the design is the legendary 'Quick Mill' instantaneous water heater. The water runs through solid copper pipes with a large cross-section. However, the water only runs when you make coffee or use the steam tap. Otherwise there is no water in the thermoblock, so the water is always as fresh as the water in the removable tank on the side. So, unlike boiler units, you don't have old and stale water, so you don't have taste changes and descaling problems. Descaling three to four times a year is completely sufficient here.
