For over 30 years, all furniture at “Manufakt”—including its signature cast-iron legs—has been crafted using traditional artisanal methods. Welded, bent, sanded, lacquered, powder-coated, cast. Minor variations are therefore inevitable.
The chairs in the Model 10 series are classics that have been a staple in the hospitality industry for years. Leading Swiss hotels, restaurants, and public spaces feature Bättig’s weather-resistant furniture on their patios—and so many professionals can’t be wrong.
The frames are made of hot-dip galvanized round tubing. The seat and backrest are covered with PVC slats. This makes the chairs completely weather-resistant, so you can leave them outside without worry. They’ll just shrug off even a summer thunderstorm.
When the chairs aren’t in use, you can stack them easily—which I find particularly practical. Note, however, that you’ll need a stacking rack for four or more chairs.
