In 1954, designer Willy Guhl created a design icon with a fiber cement panel connected to an endless loop. The sculptural armchair, also known as the "Loop Chair", impresses with its simplicity and timeless elegance. The Guhl chair was awarded "The Good Form" prize by the Swiss Werkbund in 1955 and is still considered Swisspearl's best-known design object today.
