For more than eight decades, 'Glatz' has been producing the Swiss design icon Alexo with a gear rim joint. Despite its age, the parasol is as up-to-date today as it was yesterday.

The tip of the parasol signals from afar: the finest craftsmanship is celebrated here! By means of a clever toothed ring joint made of nickel-plated brass and a long centre pole made of lacquered ash wood, the umbrella roof can be tilted in several steps and aligned to the position of the sun.
