In 1965 Alexander Girard designed a series of atmospheric metal figures that look as if they are dancing: the 'Silhouettes'. Among them is the bull, which very soon can also dance through your living room.
Originally, the 'Silhouettes' were planned for the New York restaurant La Reserve. Placed between the dining tables, they were meant to bring a cheerful expression to the space while creating an atmospheric distance between diners. The restaurant was never realized, but Alexander Girard's plans and drawings fortunately came to life anyway.
In addition to the bull, there is also the mermaid, which is also part of the 'Silhouettes'. Both figures you can find from today with me and for that I wish a great drum roll!
