Cassis carpet from ClassiCon

ClassiCon Cassis - Carpet
Eileen Gray not only created some of the most important furniture classics of the 20th century, but also had her own studio where carpets were made according to her designs. Some of her most beautiful designs are part of the ClassiCon collection: long-lasting quality products that are skillfully handcrafted. The textile works of art, knotted from 100% hand-spun New Zealand wool with a density of 124,000 knots per square meter, are easy to care for and suitable for allergy sufferers. Virgin wool is biodegradable and a renewable raw material. The color pigments are environmentally friendly and tested according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. This design is based on gouaches and pencil drawings by Eileen Gray from the 1920s. Named after the picturesque coastal town of Cassis in the southern French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, where Eileen Gray spent important periods of her life, the colors of the rug are reminiscent of the blackcurrant fruit of the same name.

Rug made from 100% hand-spun New Zealand wool. Hand-knotted with a density of 124,000 knots per square meter. Environmentally friendly color pigments, tested according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. Easy to clean and suitable for vacuum cleaners. Dimensional tolerances +/- 5 cm possible.
