Stool 'Fionia'

Probably the best-known form of the X-chair is the classic director's chair, which you know from films and on-set photographs.

A particularly beautiful Scandinavian reinterpretation is the Fionia series by the Nordic label Skagerak. Designer Jens H. Quistgaard, who created the series, is considered synonymous with Scandinavian modernism of the 50s and 60s.

The Fionia collection also includes this stool, which has been reduced to the essentials and draws its special beauty from precisely this feature. The light and foldable stool has a simple, triangular construction with a stable seat, which by the way also makes a wonderful shelf.

For example next to the bed or as a side table for flowers and magazines. By the way, it was the first stool at 'Skagerak' and has been considered a cult object ever since.
