Originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for the exterior of a private home, the 1958 'Aluminium Chair' has become one of the most important furniture classics.
Its iconic shape is due to the ingenious design principle: a fabric or leather track is stretched between two elegant side rails and absorbs the user's body in a slightly springy manner. Its dimensions and seat geometry make it the ideal chair for use at the dining table. But even as an office chair, the 'Aluminium Chair' only cuts the very best figure and is also 'mooriserproven' in this function.
