Inspired by maritime architecture: beach towel 'Marine'

Even though I welcome the hamam towel trend in the pool: To have such a thick, comfortable bath towel lying under you while you close your eyes and the buzz of the pool lulls you to sleep is something else entirely.

But of course I don't want to lay my head on any towel. I especially like the ones from 'ZigZagZurich', which look like summer, swimming pool and ice cream.

This beach towel is part of the 'Marine' series, for which artist Yani Ha draws inspiration from the light reflected in waves. 'I was inspired by maritime architecture and how sunlight and water work together to create beautiful shapes. I translated this impression into my artwork using color and minimal shapes.'
