Rattan stool 'E14'

Just like the rattan chair, which is also available from me today, the stool also makes a perfect small and easily transportable seat anywhere in the house, on the balcony or terrace.

At the end of the 1940s, Egon Eiermann, co-founder of the 'Rat für Formgebung' and one of Germany's leading architects of the post-war years, made a decisive step in product design for modern wicker furniture.

With the 'E10' and the 'E14', Eiermann succeeded in developing an armchair type with the necessary stability from the design possibilities of braiding alone. An innovative concept that later received a great response: in the legendary German pavilion designed by Eiermann und Ruf at the 1958 World Exposition in Brussels.
