In the late 1960s, French furniture designer Pierre Paulin unveiled a lounge chair the world had never seen before: the F300. Sculptural, futuristic, and featuring a completely new chair design, it instantly became a classic. GUBI took on the challenge of researching and understanding this important piece of design history and redeveloping the original production process—to bring the F300 back for contemporary spaces. A chair that changed the world back then. And is doing so again today.
