With its distinctive form and the informal combination of different materials such as wood, metal, leather and fabric, the compact armchair bears the unmistakable signature of the Dutch designer.
The colours of the 'East River Chair' are carefully matched to each other. Depending on the combination chosen, the armchair has a distinctly different expression, from subdued and calm to cheerful and colourful. However, the choice of colour and material is not only a matter of design: The leather cover protects the armrests from dirt and wear and tear and the more padded seat cushion pulled up into the backrest offers comfortable support in the lumbar area.
