A beautifully crafted armchair that belongs to a series of Hans J. Wegner's furniture, whose design was influenced by the Shaker tradition.
Quite blatant influences that come together, but which resulted in a thoroughly harmonious design of an armchair. Chapeau, dear Mr. Wegner!
Due to the light construction of these armchairs it remains very flexible and therefore comfortable. The typical Wegner handwriting includes the visible connection between front legs and armrests, which gives the armchair special stability. The seat consists of hand woven paper cord and is available in natural (unbleached) and black.
