Bed Linen 'Wax Layer'

One of my favorite labels ZigZagZurich produces contemporary accessories for home and house.

The collaborations with different designers are particularly outstanding, because they really dare to try something new. Like the Wax Layer series by Michele Rondelli in collaboration with Martina Vontobel, which uses an original technique of wax reservation. Here, for the prototype, wax was drawn directly onto fabric and then scratched into the wax. Subsequently, the fabric was dyed.

Using this special technique, 'ZigZagZurich' has succeeded in capturing the handwriting and reproducing it in Italy using the latest methods, without losing the essence of the artistic signature.

The noble grey tones of the sustainable cotton wash with subtle sheen have a particularly noble effect in their gradation and lend a naturalness that fascinates me.
