One of my favourite labels 'ZigZagZurich' makes contemporary accessories for home and house.
The collaborations with different designers are particularly striking, because they dare to do a lot of new things. Like the series 'Wax Field' by Michele Rondelli in collaboration with Martina Vontobel, which uses an original technique of wax reservation. For the prototype, the drawing was done directly with wax on fabric and then scratched into the wax. Afterwards the fabric was dyed.
In this case the result is a delicate check pattern that looks wonderfully irregular.
ZigZagZurich' has succeeded in capturing the handwriting using this special technique and reproducing it in Italy using the latest methods without losing the essence of the artistic signature.
