“Sbriciola” is a bread board designed by Anna and Gian Franco Gasparini that’s versatile enough to be used for more than just kitchen tasks. It features wide lengthwise slits and a small drawer that catches the bread crumbs that fall through the slits while slicing. The drawer is divided into two compartments: The smaller compartment, located beneath the closed section without slits, holds the bread knife and protects it from crumbs. The second compartment is the same size as the slotted section and is used to catch the crumbs that fall while slicing the bread.
