Designed by Nina Bruun for the Danish label Audo, the Gravel rug is a pebble rug with a view of nature and its infinite possibilities, representing the values that make a house a home: it is warm, inviting and comfortable.
Made with care from natural wool fibres, its soft bows - alternating in size - give the feeling of walking on a pebble beach at close range, but even from a distance the surface of the carpet seems to sway in the wind like a field of grain.
The tactile surface is achieved by a technique in which tonal wool yarns of different sizes are looped into tufts.
The natural material softens the overall expression of the carpet, which works in any context. However, because of the great feeling underfoot, I recommend it in a place where you often walk barefoot over it.
