The pattern of black diamonds and zigzag lines on white sheep's wool is characteristic for the Beni-Ourain rugs of the label My-Beni. It owes its name to the Berber tribe of the same name, which is native to the northeastern foothills of the Middle to High Atlas Mountains. The production of the carpets is traditionally the responsibility of the women of the tribe and requires not only manual dexterity and skill, but above all perseverance, because it often takes several months.
