'Silhouette' is a rug collection designed by Jaime Hayon that highlights the designer and artist's celebrated casual style.
Made from recycled PET, the outdoor rug features the silhouettes of several imaginary characters dancing, intertwining and coexisting in a beautiful composition. Hayon subtly introduces color through small elements bursting with personality. Nine faces are distributed at different angles, allowing the rug to be viewed from any perspective and fit perfectly in any space.
Spanish label 'Nanimarquina' introduces for the first time the technique of embroidery on a kilim rug, a painstaking process handmade in Pakistan where chain stitch embroidery adds texture and a soft volume.
Despite its delicate appearance, it is a robust technique that is not squeamish.
