Herringbone carpet 'Spike'

For the Spike carpet, designer José Manuel Ferrero went back to the basics. In this case, that was the herringbone pattern.

Classically kept in only two colours, 'Spike' was mixed by several colours, which gives the textile a special depth. Also the run-out of the pattern against one side shows an unusual, almost playful expression.

The carpet was tufted by hand from New Zealand wool, similar to other floor embellishers by 'Toulemonde Bochart'.
