Round bistro table 'Savoy'

In addition to the well-known chairs, the product range of the Swiss furniture manufacturer Horgenglarus also includes a wide selection of high-quality tables.

For example, the archetypes of the classic bistro table, with cast iron feet and oiled solid wood tops. Together with the studio Hannes Wettstein, 'Horgenglarus' critically examined this long forgotten table typology and now presents the modern interpretation of a traditional table with the 'Savoy'.

Savoy' consists of a round solid oak tabletop resting on a slender anthracite lacquered cast iron base. The simple, gently curved feet are filigree and straightforward and lend 'Savoy' a timeless austerity. For the production of the feet, 'Horgenglarus' cooperates with a specialized local foundry that still masters the traditional craft of sand casting.
