Rectangular dining room table Oku

Läck Friday 🖤

Dining room table Oku is an interpretation of the Japanese word for oak: 'Ōku'. 'Oku' refers to the essence of the design: the oak wood.

'By experimenting with the balance between lightness and heaviness, making the table appear gossamer from one angle and solid from another, we have highlighted the material in a simple design,' Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl say of their joint design.

The tabletop of 'Oku' is made of oak veneer with rounded edges, adding a sophisticated detail to the large surface. The legs, made of turned oak profiles, are sporadically arranged to create the illusion of a floating tabletop and give the table a sculptural detail.

'Oku' is available in both rectangular and round shapes. Available in two different generous lengths.
