A formal variation of the famous 'Eames Plastic Chair' is this wiry fellow.

With the 'Wire Chair' made of welded steel wire, Charles and Ray Eames varied the theme of the organically shaped, one-piece seat shell with an expression of light transparency and sophisticated technology. This also gives it a slightly archaic appearance, which I personally like immensely.

As with the plastic model, you can also choose different bases in maple.
