'Wire Chair DKW-2

A formal variation of the famous 'Eames Plastic Chairs' is this wiry fellow that Mooris introduces to you today.

With the 'Wire Chair' made of welded steel wire, Charles and Ray Eames varied the theme of the organically shaped, one-piece seat shell with an expression of light transparency and high technicality.

As with the plastic model, you can also choose different underframes here. A special gimmick, which the plastic chair cannot keep up with, is the graphic seat and back poslter, which lends the chair's archaic expression a shapely warmth.

A funny side note is the name of this unique cushion, which is also called 'bikini' because of its characteristic shape.

An equally iconic chair with a unique personality from Vitra, which can be seen in many ways at the dining table or as a soloist in the bedroom or corridor.
