The 'Viennese chair'

The 'Wiener Stuhl' is a cult piece of furniture with over 100 years of history.

And anyone who has ever roamed around the famous coffee houses in Vienna will certainly have sat on one of these chairs. A characteristic feature of the chair, as well as its well-known manufacturers, the Thonet brothers, is the steam-bent beech wood. This is particularly true of the Viennese chair with armrest, which conjures up a wonderfully comfortable and inviting chair from simple logs.

If you ask me, perfect for the dining room. My favourite version is the one in black with the typical Viennese weave. Put your Viennese chair together the way you like it best.

The traditional company of the Thonet brothers is world-famous and still manufactures many chairs according to the old designs. Classics that have already delighted many generations and will continue to provide a lot of charm in your and my home today and in the future.
