Chair Hal Ply Tube from 'Vitra'

Whether for your dining table at home or in the orchestra pit: The Hal chair from 'Vitra' can do it all!

The combination of a seat shell made of plywood with a restrained four-legged base made of chrome-plated or powder-coated tubular steel makes this seating furniture the elegant and versatile variant in the chair family Hal by Jasper Morrison.

'Special is usually less usable than normal', is Jasper Morrison's guiding principle for a design that does not appear extraordinarily but 'super normal' and, like 'Hal', conforms to the laws of everyday life.

With 'Hal' he has reinterpreted the multifunctional shell chair and created a variant family with a clear contemporary expression. The shape of the seat shell offers a lot of freedom of movement and allows different sitting positions - even sideways or astride.

You can choose between two different wood veneers for the color of the seat shell. For the base, you can choose between the model in polished chrome or two powder-coated colors.
