With this bar stool, designer Jasper Morrison has reinterpreted the multifunctional shell chair - and elevated it to a higher level.
The bar stool is part of the 'HAL' collection for Vitra. What the chairs in this collection have in common is the shape of the seat shell, which offers plenty of freedom of movement and, made from high-quality, flexible and sustainably recycled plastic (RE), also offers different sitting positions - for ergonomic and dynamic sitting. In this version, the chair comes with a gas spring mechanism and can therefore be perfectly adjusted in height to tables and bars from 90 cm to 110 cm high and to the respective physical conditions.
A seat cushion screwed to the seat shell offers additional comfort. It can be color-matched to the seat shell with the robust and very attractive fabric or deliberately create beautiful contrasts.
The seat with the chrome-plated base is simple, yet has a stylish presence and beauty. This makes it very multifunctional - not only in catering establishments, but also in offices with standing-height meeting and work tables.
