The name Favn is derived from the Danish word for 'embrace'. And indeed, this design by Jaime Hayon for the label Fritz Hansen looks like a good friend who opens his arms wide to welcome you. This is where I'd like to plop myself in!
The open and rounded curves look really insanely appealing and inviting and are the perfect setting for relaxation and work.
The sofa is upholstered in Hallingdal fabric, which is primarily virgin wool. The cushions and decorative pillows are also made of this material.
'Favn' is a typical design for Jaime Hayon. His Spanish roots and sense of humour can be found in all his designs - whether lounge furniture or dining chairs.
